Brilliant Support If you ever get stuck or need help, you can easily send a message and get expert support from one of our coaches. What equipment is required? Nothing — no weights, bars, or bands. Is Elements a good program for women? The program is great for women and men. Am I too old? Too fat? Too inexperienced?

Probably not. Elements is our most accessible program for any age or fitness level. Every exercise is broken down and clearly explained at multiple difficulty levels. Can I combine Elements with other training programs? Will I build muscle? What moves will I learn? Elements is focused on the bear, monkey, frogger, and crab movements, but there are variations of each tying into moves such as cartwheels and handstands. How long do the workouts take? How will this help me with your sport?

Elements shores up your weak points and improves your agility, which means better performance in all your physical activities. A year ago I had such severe back pain that I could hardly move without having shooting back pain. Tying shoes or even sitting down or standing up was insanely painful. I tried everything I could think of and at first GMB Mobility, among other things, helped me slowly get rid of the stiffness and be able to move at all again.

Through Elements, I finally feel reasonably strong again and have significantly less pain. Most importantly, I'm having fun moving again, even though I'm far from doing a perfect spiderman or high frogger. The most important thing is that I have finally learned to listen to my body and take it slow, even though I'm normally rather impatient.

I'm about to repeat the course and I'm really looking forward to it. I tried so many things, but Mobility and Elements are the programs that I had most fun with and where I got my strength back. I have a cyst in my wrist that can be very restrictive for everything I'm doing. I also have an impingement in my shoulder from so many years of volleyball.

I do not let these injuries hold me back, however I know that in the long run if I don't work to improve them I will not be able to do these things that I love. I am on week 5 of Elements and the flow is starting to begin. I have already noticed my flexibility increasing and my wrist strengthening. I can't wait to keep at it, and I know that everything I'm doing with GMB will help to improve my yoga, rock climbing, snowboarding, and all of the activities I love.

The greatest benefits that I get from bear crawls is reflexive strength and coordination between the shoulders and hips. Monkey and Frogger definitely force my hips into a deeper squat which I feel gives me more range of motion and flexibility. It has also built up my upper body strength which has prepared my body for other movements such as handstands!

Master Your Body. Build Total Autonomy. I practice BJJ and this program has helped greatly with my mobility in that. I also do kettlebell training and working with Elements has helped improve my kettlebell form and technique.

I have an injury from nearly 2 years ago while I was training for a strength challenge and this program has really helped with the final things that have still been hanging on from the injury.

Some of the lingering daily pain I had has gotten much better with this!!! I am so happy with Elements that I recently upgraded to the bundle of the other programs. Again, I can't express how much Elements has helped me in all aspects of my mobility, stabilization and strength in such a short amount of time! Ready to rock? See your options to get started. Will Schatz. Elements is everything you need to build a healthy body that moves how you want. More strength, fewer restrictions. Already pretty strong? Add Elements to your routine for improved mobility and movement skill in your CrossFit, martial arts, or other training. Each session shows you exactly what to do to make continuous progress. Here are some helpful details: Training Schedule: Elements adapts to the time you have available. In general we recommend at least 30 minutes, three times a week for best results.

Equipment: None. All you need is your own body and a little open floor space. It's a great way of cheating the system and doing mobility without "doing mobility. Hacky sack is a great way to get more hip mobility without trying to. The Trees Are on Fire is a great game for upper body mobility.

Woah, imagine that. Actually using movement to get things done, rather than it just being some isolated drill you practice in a gym? No, it's actually pretty simple when you think about it. This is a very half-assed list I just ran off the top of my head.

I'm sure you can think of a thousand other ways if you just start exploring and being more mindful of how you move throughout your day. The more you move well throughout the day, in continually novel ways, with good mechanics, the more you will master the basic elements. Becoming mindful of every moment you're moving and how you're holding yourself is the ultimate goal, and where you'll really find deep transformation of your body. I love this. It seems so obvious, to just be there, in the movement, completely absorbed and immersed in what you're doing.

When the separation between you and the movement disappears, something foundational shifts. Being in the movement you are conscious and alive as motion. You are not just thinking about the movement and going through some motions. You are fully immersed, and on a great day the boundary between mover and movement seems to dissolve.

The more you relax into movement, the more you slow down, move with greater quality, and most importantly, enjoy the journey. Whether you're reclaiming the lost elements of movements, or reaching towards epic feats of skill, the journey is what matters most. Building a great foundation is a process that requires patience and is always evolving. The more you venture down the rabbit hole, the further you might find that it goes.

When you build a strong base, you're setting yourself up for healthy, functional joints that you can rely on throughout your life.

You are exactly where you need to be right here, right now. And this moment is the only moment you can affect any change from. If you're not in your body now and you're just trying to get somewhere else, you have very little power to transform what is. When you're actually in relationship and present to what is embodied , you can begin to work with it.

In other words, freaking enjoy the body you have and what it can do. Be grateful for every single articulation you're capable of right now. Reclaiming a strong foundation of movement ability can feel like a seriously daunting task. After all, what I just covered in this post is a lot, and that was me holding back a considerable amount.

How do you put "returning to the elements" thing into practice, and more importantly, how the hell do you find your weak links and what you need to work on the most? Shocked by the name? It's no surprise that they built this course because of a common need for people to get back to the fundamentals of strength, flexibility and skill.

I've used many of their programs to get great results in my training, which is why I'm proud to be an affiliate for them.
