I had previously bought Windows 10 Pro on a USB, with a product key, just after I bought the laptop and wanted to reinstall this. When I tried, as it is apparently an older version of Windows 10 Pro, I cannot both install it and keep my files and apps. Is there a way to download the current version of 10 Pro and install this with the product key I have bought? I was then put through to technical support which took most of the rest of the time. The chap allegedly spoke to a Tier 2 Support team member and I was to be put through.
Unfortuntely as soon as I was put through I got a recorded message that the office was closed and I should call back during normal business hours. Sadly as I have no idea where suport are based, nor a number, I can't!! I did have a missed called at Is this typical of Microsoft support?
